Friday showed lots of waiting as everyone were expecting the foretasted wind to come. At 1pm the AP flag was finally lowered but as the riders started sailing towards racing area the wind dropped again.
Every now and then the wind showed up in narrow lanes for some minutes and served some riders good moments on water. However it was not enough for a whole start and the day ended without any races.
Saturday’s forecast promises lower temperatures and rain but also some wind (7 to 11 knots) for morning and early afternoon. Expectations are high and race committee will do their best to get the riders back on racetrack!
