21 Formula riders found their ways to European Cup event in the best windsurfing beach of Finland. Even though organizers were a bit disappointed of the low number of participants, it was great to get riders from Estonia and Latvia to challenge their Finnish fellow surfers!
Weather acted the way it was supposed to – very warm and sunny day raised some sea breeze in late afternoon and the first racing day served us two full starts.
It was very tight in the lead as Estonian riders John Kaju (EST-24) and Peeter Kask (EST-12) were chasing the Formula ranking leader Janis Preiss (LAT-23), boards almost touching each other on the finishing line.
