“We just have had three races and it was pretty tough conditions. The wind was all over the place gusty and shifty. In the first race I had a terrible start, couldnt get planing and ended up tacking off to the wrong side of the course just to get some clean air. I was back deep in the pack and kept the faith and just chipping away at the huget lead that Arnon and Steve had. I got some good wind and ended up finishing in 3rd.

The second race I had a good start and was first all the way around the course. The wind was the best of all the races and I felt pretty good out there. The Israely Arnon Dagan, “The Camel”, finished in second followed by Ben Van Der Steen.

The third race was getting windy and I thought that I would have a big advantage with the wind picking up. I had a not so good start and then ended up tacking off. was flying and had some great speed. Steve rounded the first mark in first followed by “the Camel” and I was hot on their heals. Steve went way to far on the downwind layline and so did I but still managed to jibe before Steve to pick up some serious ground. We rounded the bottum mark and I had some good speed edging out Steve. The Camel, was flying upwind and passed over me, and I quickly tacked to get some clean air. The Camel had some good speed but I just managed to have the right layline and passed him to finish in first. This was a great race with lots of lead changes. The wind was still really gusty and shifty but that is just the way it goes. Lunch is nearly over and we will be back on the water soon..
