Ross Williams (GBR 83) managed a creditable third place in the Kara-oke
competition during the recent Welsh Championships (1st -3rd may) in Pwllheli
,North Wales .!!
It spurred him on to reclaim first place in the Championships-finishing just
one point ahead of GBR rival Jamie Lever .
The event was a final warm up before the European Championships -and
consequently attracted an strong entry from UK ,and from further afield .
Pavel Hlavaty ,(POL) made the trip with JL -he left impressed by the
standard of competition in the UK(finishing 7th overall) -but not so
impressed with the temperatures. !!
Christine Johnston -FW Womens Champion 2003- was in great form -taking the
womens title -and in the process beating most of the men (15th overall)
