2026 Formula Windsurfing Fin & Foil World Championships
15–19 September 2026 | Guarapari, Espírito Santo, Brazil

The Formula Windsurfing World Championships begin tomorrow in Guarapari, Brazil, bringing the fin and foil divisions together on the world championship stage for the first time in a while. A week of racing awaits, with world titles to be decided and a welcome opportunity for the Formula community to come together again.

The entry list features sailors from eight nations: Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Uruguay. A large Brazilian contingent will welcome the international challengers, with both divisions contributing to a gathering that spans generations of windsurfers.

Bringing both divisions together gives this championship a special sense of occasion. It is a chance to celebrate the racing and community that have sustained Formula Windsurfing, while welcoming younger competitors sharing the event with sailors who have devoted many years to the sport.

A big thank you goes to the organisers, who are keen Formula Windsurfing enthusiasts themselves. Their commitment and hard work have made this gathering possible, and we are grateful for the energy they have put into welcoming the fleet to Guarapari.

The stage is set for a week of competition, renewed friendships and champions to be crowned. Tomorrow, the 2026 Formula Windsurfing Fin & Foil World Championships begin.
