PORTIMAO TROPHY ... event presentation

The PORTIMAO TROPHY for Formula Windsurfing will be held in the Praia da Rocha, Portimão, from 01 to 04 of April, 2010.

The Organising Authority will be the CLUBE NAVAL PORTIMÃO with the collaboration of the Portuguese Federation, the Real Spanish Federation, the Portuguese Formula Association and the Spanish Formula Association.

The PT is a level 3 World Ranking event , which may be elevated to Level 2; full details will be published in the forthcoming Notice orf Race.

ALEX CAVIGLIA BLUEWATER CLASSIC JAN 16-18, 2010‏

This year top pro formula sailors will be there for the challenge Micah Buziani USA- 34 is comming back to battle for the title he won in 2007, as well as Brasilian Wilhelm Shurmann BRA-999. NoR for South Americans now published...

The 2010 South American Championship will take place for the first time in Uruguay.
The event will be hosted by Yacht Club Uruguayo in Puerto del Buceo, Montevideo. and will take place between 12th >16th February.
The Championship is a level 1 world ranking event and has an event factor of 1.5.

2009 Formula Windsurfing Grand Prix Tour Ranking

The 2009 Grand Prix World Tour drew to a successful conclusion recently at the Wind Brasil Fortaleza GP. A third place in the final event of the world tour was enough for Steve Allen (AUS0) to take the tour title; crowning a fantastic year that also saw him regain the World Title in Santa Pola, Spain.
