Despite an attempt to start racing at 1100 the wind was just too light, and straight onshore, to enable the big boards and sails to get off the beach. Over night the onshore breeze made sure there were plenty of waves to greet the sailors as they arrived at the beach, it was always going to be a difficult day for formula.

Time goes very fast when you realize that this was the 15th Neil Pryde Baltic Cup that just finished in Liepaja, Latvia.
Eight races completed in the Latvian Baltic Cup and it could not have been a closer finished.
Valentin Brault (FRA) just took out local hot shot Janis Preiss (LAT) by the narrowest of margins - 0.7 pts !
Last day of Eurocup and 4 races completed with the wind playing from 15-23 knots. A successful event came to its end with 15 races completed in total.

3rd day started with very unstable N-NE wind around 15 knots gusting to 25 at the first 2 races.... after the break although the wind seamed to be the same we had suddenly increasment at 27 to 35 knots, and we did 2 races at those conditions!!!!! what a tiered-full day..... 1 more day to go
