Once again we had a big event in Alqueva in this little paradise we have in Portugal, for those of you that don´t know is one of the biggest Lakes in Europe, in the middle of Portugal with amazing conditions for nautic sports and for many other sports.
Again the paradise of Alqueva had everything except wind.
ll Formula guys were waiting for this fantastic and amazing event, not only because is one of the best events we have every year but also the amazing place that is Monsaraz and the Lake Alqueva, a beautiful place.
Portimao in May – sun, warm water and great wind conditions for formula racing!
As usual for an event so early in the global year, all the latest and greatest equipment was ready to be tested in actual racing conditions with the new Hollow PD Board probably creating the most interest.
The 2016 formula windsurfing European season kicks off with the Alqueva/Monsaraz European Cup from 24th to 27th March.
The Notice of Race is being prepared and will be published soon, meantime here is a preview of what is coming up in Portimao, on the Algarve, in May.
