On the final day of the Engadinwind.com in Silvaplana the famous Maloja wind finally arrived. In a perfect schedule the organization was able to run the marathon race and additionally two more races for the Windsurfing Euro-Cup.
3 races for formula and 5 for raceboard at the final event in the 2007 Baltic Cup Series. Event winners in Tallinn were : Formula - Ryszard Pikul (POL40) and Raceboard -Karmo Kalk (EST 4). Overall in the 2007 series for Formula - 1st Janis Preiss (LAT 23) ; 2nd Erno Kasik (EST 2); Martin Ervin (EST 202). A great Prize Giving and Party for the closing ceremony - including dance troup "Harem" and Oxbow summer 2008 fashion. Two races were sailed on the second day of the Engadinwind.com in Silvaplana. The RS-X Vice World Champion Przemek "Pont" Miarczcynski (POL-126, F2, Gaastra) presented a strong performance with a victory in race one and a third place in race two. The Belgium hotshot Pascal Somers (BEL-7, AHD, Severne Sails) dominated the second race.
100 racers from around the world – US National Championship windsurfing events are open to all nationalities and attract many of the world's top ranked professional competitors.
Tomorrow the Windsurfing Euro-Cup will kick off at the STIMOROL ENGADINWIND.COM mega event in Silvaplana (Switzerland). Over 50 competitors are pre-registered for the event.

Unfortunately the wind stayed quite light on the opning day. It never reached the strength to allow official racing.
