The fifth and final race of the 2011 CalCup Formula Windsurfing Racing Series wrapped up in spectacular fashion this past Saturday September 17th at Berkeley's infamous pebble carpet.
This years Miami Pro Am will feature the 2011 North American Formula Windsurfing Championship.
The final day of competition here at the FW Balkan Open showed stronger winds like the first two days. Up to 28 knots was recorded on the race course through the day.
The 2012 Asian Formula Windsurfing Championship will be the main feature event at the 31st Singapore Open and will take place from 11th to 15th January.

The 2011 South American Championship returns to Fortaleza in Ceara State, Brasil.
Known as the windy state - the event will be organised by long term partners Arrow Marketing in co-operation with the Associacao Brasileira de Windsurf (ABWS).
Notice of Race is now published for the event which will be based at marina Park and runs from 15th to 20th November.
Alberto Menegatti wins again confirming his leadership in the Italian Formula Windsurfing Championschip 2011 which was held in Gallipoli, south of italy.
The championship started on saturday with winds under the official limit, which led to the only start that day being cancelled as the wind came and went.
