Croatian Formula Windsurfing Open inc. European Cup

1. RULES
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing-Windsurfing Competition Rules. If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence.

2. VENUE AND RACING AREA
2.1. Latitude 42° 58'44"N; Longitude 17°06'12"W

3. ELEGIBILITY AND ENTRIES
3.1. The regatta is open to all boards of the Formula Windsurfing class.
3.2. A minimum of 6 windsurfing boards entered in the Formula Windsurfing class are required to validate CROATIAN FORMULA WINDSURFING OPEN
3.3. The Entry Form must be submitted by 13 July 2011, before 17 hours. Entry can be sent by email or fax, to the organizer Club BOFOR Viganj

3.5. Payment of the entry fees can be made at registration, on day 1 of the event (16 July 2012), till 12:00 hour.
3.6. All entries shall meet the requirements of ISAF Regulation 19 – Eligibility Code
3.7. Each competitor must sign personally the Registration Form at the Race Office from 10:00 to 12.00 on 16 July 2012
3.8. Boards should confirm personlly their entry, presenting their identity cards
saling licenses and boat/personal insurance at the office of Organising Authority

4. FEES
4.1. Following entry fees are required :

4.2. The Organising Authority reserves the right to accept entries after the
established
deadline. These entries may have to pay an increased entry fee.

5. SCHEDULE AND FORMAT
5.1. 16 July 2012
10:00 – 13:00 h Race Office opened, Registration of competitors & equipment
13:30 h Skippers Meeting
14:00 h Warning signal 1st race of the day
21:00 h Championship Opening Ceremony

17-20 July 2012
Competition days, races according to schedule on the bulletin board

21 July 2012
17:00 h Last possible start
21:00 h Prize giving ceremony

5.2. 14 races may be sailed
5.3. On the last day of the event, there will be no warning signals after 17 hours
5.4. To validate the event, a minimum of 4 races must be completed

6. EQUIPMENT REGISTRATION AND INSPECTION
Each competitor shall complete an Equipment Registration Form before the close of registration. Equipment inspections may be made at any time during the event by the chief equipment inspector of the race committee.

7. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The sailing instructions will be available after 9 am on the 16th of July at bulletin board

8. SUPPORT BOATS
Support boats shall be registered at the Organising Authority and must permanently display identification. This identification should be a flag of the club or a white flag with the designation of the club and their national flags.

9. RADIO COMMUNICATIONS
Except in an emergency, a board shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio communications not available to all boards. This restriction also applies to mobile telephones.

12. PROTEST COMMITTEE
A Protest Committee will be appointed in accordance with WCR 91(a)

13. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.

14. INSURANCE
Each participating board shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance.
