Racing got underway at the 2012 Youth and Masters World Championship hosted by Fraglia Vela Malcesine on the waters of Lake Garda in northern Italy.

20:40 | skippers meeting tomorrow at 07.30 for 0800 first possible start. The race committee try to catch the strong early morning "peler" wind .

21:18 | First day at Youth & Master Worlds was a day of measurement, registration and training in a light south wind.
More than 60 sailors ready to race tomorrow - full competitor list will be posted soon. The club hospitality is simply Great, just like the location.
10.30 tomorrow opening ceremony, 11.00 skippers meeting. First possible start At 12.00.
